Obama to Lift HIV/AIDS Travel Ban

President Barack Obama said Friday the U.S. will overturn a 20-year-old U.S. travel ban against people with HIV early next year.
The order will be finalized Monday, Obama said, completing a process begun during the Bush administration.

WTF? This is stupid thing to do, does he want higher HIV in this country?

 

I didn't know there was such A law,but I do believe that's just A tad bit prejudice. Do people entering/leaving the U.S.A have to do A test or can they just lie and say they havn't contracted HIV/AIDS?

 

They have to do a test in their home countryif they want to come to the U.S.

 

Damn, but what if say, an American went to A foreign country and contracted HIV by banging, then chose to return to the U.S.A, would they be allowed?

 

If they are a citizen of the U.S, of course.

 

Ok, let me try A different scenario, say Mrs. Douche was born in America, grew up in America till she was 21, then travelled to Australia and became A citizen there. Meanwhile she doesn't know but she's contracted HIV from an all night booze-up. If Mrs. Douche wanted to visit her parents back in America, would she be allowed?

 

No she can't, her parents have to go there and see her.

It's not like HIV infected people are zombies who wish to spread their infection as much as possible, I don't care, it's a pointless law and I'm glad Obama did the right thing.

 

I think it is a good idea to remain the ban. It's people's responsibility to ensure to be safe and not contract HIV, all this could do is spread it more.
