    Need opinions for forum

I am partnering with a friend of mine and we are trying to get people to join our forum. The only thing is it is pretty hard to get new members to join when there is not many posts/threads etc. I am looking for places online to advertise this thread. Does anyone know any good websites or forums I can share our website on in hopes to get some new members? THansks!/SIZE]

Making threads on various forums is just going to get you a bad reputation. Buy some ad space on websites that attract a similar individual. Make a signature that gets your forum across and buy signature spaces of members across forums. Your thread layout is also too small and is very difficult to read.

Also, this thread also comes off as more of a plug for your online forum than a question about how to advertise.

If we join your forum do you give us a magnifying glass so we can read your graphic?

Google ads, campaigns, giveaways, word of mouth, referrals etc

Just spamming on a bunch of random forums isn't going to bring members to your site and will leave a bad taste in people's mouths

Also, marketing wise, what sets your forum apart from Sythe? Why would people want to go to your's? What makes it different. Those are some questions you're going to want to answer and address, as to convince people to register.

I am not trying to get sythe members to join my forum I am just asking for advice, the website has nothing to do with runescape at all as sythe does. Thanks for the constructive criticism though

Sythe may look like a good place to advertise online income but in all honesty it's a gaming blackmarket.

I'd say 80% of users are here to purchase gaming incentives and the other 20% are online entrepreneurs.

If your strategy is to gather these online entrepreneurs I would focus on adding content to your forum and consecutively advertising your forum to google searches such as "how to make money online". Advertise directly to these keywords or on sites that are popular when searching these keywords.

I also wouldn't advertise your forum as a place to make money online, because it's slightly misleading. What you're attempting to do, if I'm not mistaken, is review online methods of income and give people a place to start.

That's what I would focus on. Say,

"Looking to make money online? Cashforum.org offers professional opinions on all online income methods. Receive reviews and advice from a diverse community of entrepreneurs with online marketing and moneymaking experience. Come here to weed out the scams and separate the real cash without wasting your time."

There, I've written you a simple thesis/review and hope it gets you started.

I'd highly recommend editing the "no rules" part in the spam forum. Unless you're ok with random links to random websites and beggars asking for btc / gofundme donations. A lot can go wrong with stuff like that :p
