Fire Cape on a low level (41-42 combat). Questions

Been around since 2006-2007 to get my old pure a Fire Cape, but never got around to it.

What's the best set up for this type of pure? I know the combat is low, but that is exactly what is meant to be -- a challenge.

The stats:
50 Ranged
10 Defence
43 Prayer
40 Hitpoints

What's the best gear set up.

 

It's going to be incredibly hard to do it with those stats. It's definitely doable on a pure with 10 def and 43 pray, just get your ranged up to 60+ and that'll open a lot more doors, get it 70 and your pretty much set if your good at doing Jad. Worst case scenario with 70 ranged you can always pay some RSGP to do it, and most would be happy to help.

 

All I can say is, take a lot of Purple Sweets.

You'll need a shitload of sweets to do that. And the best gear available at those levels:

Robin hat
Hard leather body
amulet of ranging
Blue dragonhide chaps
Adamant crossbow
Diamond bolts OR/AND Ruby bolts for high damage to jad
Ranger boots
About 2000-5000 sweets and 3 brews
The rest of the inventory should be prayer potions/super restores
