Halo 4 is an upcoming video game and the seventh installment in the Halo franchise. Halo 4 is intended to be the first of a new trilogy of Halo series games. Whereas the previous Halo games were developed by Bungie, Halo 4 will be developed by 343 Industries. The game continues some time after the ending of Halo 3, and marks the return of the Master Chief as the main protagonist. Cortana will also appear in the game. As long as they do away with bloom, armor abilities (except for MAYBE sprint), assassination animations, and the fucking stupid melee/health bleed system I'll buy it. If anything I will probably enjoy the story, as long as they don't do anything stupid and like make you fight covenant rebels or some crap. If I had it my way I'd have them take Halo 3, continue the story and reuse pretty much all of the gameplay mechanics with maybe some minor updates. Halo 3 was essentially perfect minus netcode issues, BR spread, and a few glitches. A Far Cry 2-esque map editor would be nice as well. Forge kind of sucks tbh. It's much easier in Reach, but all the maps look retarded/the same everywhere you go.
