Buying 2 Valentines Day Poems/Words for Historical Figures

Well, I have to do a simple history project. I must choose 2 historical figures from a chapter in my history book (which I will list) and create valentines cards for them. Card designs are the easy part, text is where the help comes in. Everything I come up with is cheesy, so I figured I'd ask here in the hopes of receiving help from someone more creative than myself. Simply enough, it can be a poem, a few words, etc. It just needs to hint at something important they did in their life so that the reader can pull something from it. I need 2 different ones.
