    Account loss Questions

I purchased a OSRS Account for $160 off of Kijiji (its like craigslist but in Canada I think), he lives in my city, anyways I met him at the 7/11 closest to I'm guessing where he lives about 4 months ago and the account he sold me must have been taken back from me. whenever i try to log in it says invaild password, I have access to my email and everything that was 'supposed' to be my email for the account, but when I send a password recovery it asks me if I want to send it to a different email.

I think the email is his real/ full name aswell I could add him on facebook but I doubt he will reply, is there anything else I cant do about this situation.

(also i tried recovering the account about 4 days ago and got an email saying it was unsuccessful so im out of alot of money and an account)

    anything i can do?

No, if it was recoverd ur toast if he's the original owner.

I think a better question is, why would you buy a RUNESCAPE ACCOUNT off a site similar to craigslist?

This is just begging to be scammed, while I feel sympathy for you, please rework some of ur trading habits :p.

I thought it would be better to do it that way seeing as I would meet him in person but now that I'm thinking about it, it would probably be better to have bought it online due to now me having no receipt or anything showing i purchased it.

fml but thanks for the reply, you actually made me laugh at myself a little bit :p

bus is so knowledgeable you should listen to him, not. More like you felt like you could have gotten more comfortable with buying an account IRL, tbh using that craigslist thing was and is probably safer then using sythe, for next time though i would get where he lives, his phone number, his full name and a picture of an ID from him, so you could find him and or contact him if something were to happen to your account.

I don't know whether to be offended or laugh that I just got told off by a april 2016 member.

Yeah because getting information which could possibly lead to a confrontation, physical injury, or the cops is the way to go when YOUR DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL TO BY BUYING A RUNESCAPE ACCOUNT.

That's just a brilliant idea, brilliant.

You let me know how that confrontation and assault charge or how the police laugh you out of the building goes.

What do you expect him to do? Go to the cops with the guy's id and address and say hey that dude stole my rs account I paid cash for!

I mean on what possible level do you think any of the information you listed would be helpful to OP?

If the account got recovered the guy who recovered it isn't going to be returning his phone calls bud.

Also- Lets remember who has 20+ account sales under his belt pls.
