RuneScape Recovery Assistance/Speed-Ups?

Hi everyone,

Recently I've recovered a long lost account of mine. *Cheers!~* I am in need of some assistance now on how I can keep it;

1. There is an e-mail set on it that is not mine. I know how they reset it, too. I may use the same approach. Questions though: If you would like to switch e-mails, is it a 7/14 day thing, or is it instantly changed? Is there a way I can instantly clear it if anything?

2. Recovery questions. Ohh a recoverer's terror if they've been changed up. I know this is one of the deciding factors on how long you'll keep your recovered account for! Normally the say 'hacker' would be able to just use the questions he had set to recover it nearly instantly. I stand no chance. Is there some type of 'tactic' I can try to do to shorten the time it takes to change recoveries? (How long DOES it take to change them anyway? 7/14?) Or is there some type of possibility that I can CLEAR the recoveries with no delay time? (May there please be a God of Recoveries.)

3. Payment types! You can answer some of the recovery questions on how the payment types were used, and I've heard that's a pretty legit way to recover. How many payments does it remember? 3? 4? 7? 10?! Is there a way I can somehow clear these? By maybe continuously paying for memberships myself? & Does this work with PayBySMS and Cards?

4. Am I missing any vital information on what needs to be done to keep my account safe from being recovered instantly after I myself have recovered it and how to keep it safe for future attempts for the 'hacker' to recover? (Don't say "Do not tell your password to anyone!" I know not too..)

Please, help a fellow scaper get revenge on this low-life that got ahold of my account. Every *positive* post/comment helps. Thank you everyone.

 

Just recover your account (very easy just fill in what info you have and your IP will do the rest. Then just rest easy. The hacker won't be able to recov again unless you are still keylogged/ratted from when you were hacked the first time.

1. If you provided an email address when you recovered the account, that will become the registered address on the account. If you didn't...recover it again and give one this time.

3. Previous payments don't fall off the account, no matter how many new payments you add to it. :'(

I would email [email protected] and get them to clean the hijackers information off. This will prevent this scumbag from using this information to take your account again

As long as it was originally your account they won't be able to recover and changing the email won't help you either way other than being able to change the password. also it honestly sounds like you stole the account as you say its a "long lost account" but yet has someone else's details attached. seems fishy./

 

If your the original owner than you dont really have to worry about losing the account perm...try changing the passwords a few times and theres some guides in RS Free Guides Section on how to remove unknown email

 

What works best is internet service providor. Try remembering that.
