For all the programmers, I have a task for you.

To all the programmers of sythe, I bring you a task of creating a program with the following:

This program will, at the users request, search their entire music library and cross reference songs to several databases to get the following:

-Song Name
-Artist Name
-Album Name
-Lyrics

Every song will be checked, If the file already has song name, artist name and album name, it will search for a correct song name (in case it's a song name like "01 Song name", and will fix it with "Song name") and then search for the lyrics of this song.

Once it has completed every song in the library (the folder that the library is in will be prompted for by the user), it will alert the user, and then finish.

It should also store a backup of the information, the backup would contain:

-original file location
-original file songname
-original file artistname
-original file albumname
-original file lyrics

This is incase the wrong data is pulled, as there are plenty of songs with the same name, but different artists.


This program should be made free, and I will happily design a good GUI for this for you to impliment, and an ad or two can be put into the program so you can gain some money or whatnot.

It would be great if a bunch of you got together and formed a little club for this project, liek the dev team.
