Rigour or Rapier?

Well, the title is pretty self-explanatory. I'm on 106k tokens, and i need help deciding what to choose. I already have a Chaotic crossbow and a Chaotic maul. I like doing arma, some pking (rev, west drags). I also like safe PvP like clan wars. I use void for most of the things i do.

 

Rapier for sure. Its a well rounded weapon that's great for both PvM and PvP. Definitely worth the extra tokens.

 

Chaotic is good for most bosses/pking/revs.. Rigour is good for most of them as well but nothing really can get the bonus's of a rapier. Its fast and hits well.

 

Depends what account you've got. If you have a range tank, probably get Rigour. If not, a rapier would be handy for bosses etc.

 

Rapier is an all around amazing weapon, and would definitely be the better choice normally.

By the sounds of it though, you might actually get more use out of Rigour than you would from having a rapier right away. Rigour is extremely useful is you are ranged-based PKing, doing alot of ranged bossing (Armadyl, Nex etc.), use ranged for slayer tasks etc, and especially if you wear your ranged void set all the time, rigour just might be the better choice for you

Rapier > Rigour normally, but there is no sense in getting a rapier if you don't use melee too often and you won't end up using it as much as you thought.

 

Unless your ranged based, you cant go wrong with the rapier
