Sorry but iv'e tried this AND done the math and you don't get 900k/hour

Think about it:
1k oak logs and turning them into planks = 275k
1k oak planks = 450k
275-450 = 175
which means that's 175k per 1000 logs, which is about 1.5k oak planks an hour...

This method works out to get you around 265k per hour

Well i suppose it is a good method just next time don't put 900k/hour before doing the math

It's more like 270k per hour. It was never more than about 375k, even when Oak Planks were selling at their peak and you could always get maximum price.

It takes about 40 seconds per run . That means you can do 90 runs per hour.

With Boots of Lightness, you can carry 22 logs and still be under the necessary 40 kg to ride the Balloons. So you can carry Gold, 21 Oak Logs, one Willow Log (needed to ride the balloon), Gold, a Ring of Dueling, and a regular Energy Potion, plus three slots of whatever (so that you can load all from the bank and get 21 Oak Logs) This means that you will do 90 x 21, or 1890 planks per hour.

It costs 276 per plank (26 for the Oak Log and 250 to convert each). Oak Planks sell for 437 in the Grand Exchange. That means that you make 161 coins per plank over raw costs. 1890 x 161 is 304,290 coins. From that you have to deduct the cost of:

12 Dueling Rings, at 945 each, or 11,340
About 60 regular Energy Potion(4), at 360 each, or 21,600
90 Willow logs at 18, each, or 1,620

So deducting the 34,560 from 304,290, you have 269,730 profit per hour, which is less than a third of the 900,000 claimed.

Of course, if you cut your own Oak and Willow Logs, you can save about 50,000 and make about 320,000 per hour, but that's still way short of 900,000.

Nice method, i tried it and made about 700k in one hour, it was my first time using it so, i'm sure ill get 900k p/h in the future.

 

Guys, we all get the point it's not 900k an hour. already had around 6 people say it. It's still a good guide for running planks.
