Is bike riding less effecient than running?

Whenever i ride a bike in the gym i feel like it's not actually tiring me out rather than temporarily exhausting me. I feel as if running would do a better job of just using more muscles to exercise. Maybe im not trying hard enough, whats your opinions?

My apologies on the double thread, i clicked submit thread and it said sythe.org was under maintenance so i went back and clicked submit again.

Unless your goal is to become a better runner, it really doesn't matter what kind of cardio you do, unless you are cutting.

Well, I'd say try running there for few times and look if it makes any change.

If you want a good workout with biking, head to those small forest trails, thats really good workout, cardio wise.

Probably cutting weight, for wrestling or mma or the like.

Do a mix of running/biking a few times a week, both are efficient, but too much running can cause painful shin splints

I would say running, using way more energy.

Spinning is FAR better for cutting than running, to be more efficient mix both.

Do 10 minutes spinning and then 20 running, keep your body guessing and adjusting.
