    Malwarebytes Question

If I choose to delete the quarantined malware within the program, does it delete the file itself, or just removes it from being quarantined?

    Malwarebytes Question

Its very ambiguous the way its written, I agree. I think delete means clean, and exclude means whitelist the file.

Personally I uninstalled malwarebytes after it started spamming up my screen and force opening itself, generally behaving just like malware.

    Malwarebytes Question

I re-downloaded it on an old computer and ever since it quarantined these files, it has been running quite smooth. It needs more clarification indeed.

    Looking for more opinions.

    Malwarebytes Question

In my experiences, it has deleted the file itself. I too use it on an older model computer and it has helped heaps.

I have also run into the problems DD describes, I usually shut it off via task manager to have it completely turned off when I'm not using it. Seems to suck too much memory even while it's idle (my old computer needs all the freed up memory it can get).

    Malwarebytes Question

The new MBAM layout is a bit confusing but quarantine renders the file useless, but it does NOT delete it. Currently, you must click the History tab then click delete all to delete your quarantined items. Alternatively, you can restore or delete whichever ones you want, in the case of false positives.

I've never had these problems. Can you screenshot this? I've been using MBAM for years and never once has anything popped up. Not even when it scans. It doesn't take that much RAM but sometimes it takes some CPU but nothing serious unless it's scanning.
