I don't know if i'm posting within the right section, if not, Could a mod move it to the correct area.

Anyway, Would anyone be able to recommend a good hosting site for websites, forums etc?

How big are you looking? If it's just a small forum 123systems.net will suffice.

 

Probally hands down, the best website hosting domain would have to be GoDaddy.com

http://arvixe.com is very, very good, and cheap. You will get a domain free for life! and the hosting is 7$ /mo or even less.

 

NameCheap has always been a cheap web host I've used. I recommend them.

 

Not sure if this is the right section but hostgator has always been my favorite.

 

I would agree with Nick and say Arvixe is good, i've used them in the past.

 

Host Gator or FXDomains would be the best bet. They are in steep competition with GoDaddy and promise 99.999999% uptime on their servers. Plus the price is right for their services. Can't go wrong.
