Of course there is... but not on sythe. I don't really know any sites but:

http://themeforest.net/ seems promising... btw are you going to code it too?

Well, I don't know yet. But I doubt it. I really suck at computing, programming and things liek that.

Well at themeforest you can sell psd designs also, and yes, its profitable if you know where to get clients.

If you'd like, I'm looking for a pro bono designer with potential earnings on a project I'm currently working on.

I'd need dedication and the ability to work with me based on specs and reqs. Would be a good way to get your name and style out there if you're good.

That is if you're offering and all that stuff, just hit me up with a portfolio and what not.

(You wouldn't even have to splice the image, you'd just have to make it, send me the psd, and I can code it)

There is a market for web design, if you know where to market.

Obviously someone who can design, code and program is going to make more (even if they just have the basics of them.) I would suggest learning some basic PHP & [x]HTML & CSS before even looking for clients (on other sites and forums. Sythe fails in the programming department.)

The reason I strongly suggest this is that if the person has to higher someone who can make the PSD and then someone who can code it, the coder will generally speaking make more. You should have enough skill in HTML & CSS to at very least make the basic template.

However, with that said there is still a market for web design, especially if you can find someone to work along side you coding and then selling templates rather than the picture. Best of luck if you decide to do this!

You need to find clients to make a profit, but you also have to beat other people in prices unless you offer something special. It is quite hard and you'll find you won't end up seeing any money for awhile.

I'd recommend getting a job at McDonalds because the graphics market is currently flooded with designers looking for work.
Especially if you are just a beginner, would be 100x harder to see some earning considering there are some top notch guys that still can't find work and many others releasing goodies upon request for free.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 extended = most torrented application atm -_-
