I think java is a pretty cool guy. eh compiles portions of code at runtime and doesn't afraid of anything.

 

Your problem is that you're using IE.

 

Um WoW are you serious or just anti-IE? Because I installed Firefox and didnt have internet connection ftw? And LOL @ Cruel. P.s. I expected more from a programming mod, shame, shame.

 

Cruel didn't do anything wrong. It's common knowledge that the mentally retarded use Internet Explorer.

Perhaps it's your firewall blocking firefox's connection to the internet. Use some common sense before you spam threads with your nonsense. Just download the manual installation of Java.

 

IE is totaly gay and requires updates every 30 seconds.

Get yourself Fire Fox, or Use Opera. Anything but IE.

 

Safari is for the win, I find it much faster than other browsers. CSS parsing isn't as good, but thats why I have firefox installed.

Make sure your account has administration privlleges. It is hard for a program to install itself when there are security measures (not very good ones I might add) preventing it from doing so.

 

In IE go to;

If i were you id figure out what is blocking firefox's internet access and stop it from doing so. Most likely your firewall or antivirus software either way go look at their settings and see if you can allow firefox internet access.
