Quick question

Hello just out of curiosityi was wondering if you were to buy an account for some online game off ebay is there anything stopping the seller from Claiming the account back a few months later down the line once the buyer can no longer use a paypal dispute? Thanks in advanced.

 

There is if you don't use precautions. Use paypal claim and cancel so then can't claim it back.

 

If your talking about a Runescape Account being recovered down the track, then yes it can. All Runescape accounts can get recovered by there original owner at any time, provided they have all information needed. A way to prevent this from happening, is by trading with someone who has done many successful account trades in the past. The better reputation they have, the less likely you will get scammed. I'm not saying this is a 100% guarantee though, best of luck with your account buying/ trading.

 

Ebay really isn't smart. I would advise using the new USfine site that Sythe is sponsoring.Or buying/selling an account on one of the various "blackmarket" sections on the site. There is a method using Paypal that is called "Claim and cancle" that have found to be quite good. But you can easily recover an account after you get paid..atleast on Runescape and Guild Wars that I know of.
