Do You type without looking?

I can type relatively fast but I have to look at the keyboard while typing which is not good when playing games etc...

I was just wondering if you guys type without looking and if so how many?

Btw any tips on improving my typing skills are appreciated.

I used an ancient program called "All The Right Type" in elementary school, it was part of lessons but I also used it when I was bored in computer class. From that and along with frequent use of the computer, I was able to type 100+ words per minute without looking by 7th grade. As of now I'd say I maintain an average of 70-80 wpm, not sure why but I've slowed down a bit. I can type really fast if I'm focusing though.

Yep . Have been able to since Grade 5, ever since we had "Typing Lessons," ^_^
Try out a program, search on Google.

 

Havent been looking at the keyboard for over 3/4 years now, just play games like Rs while pking, see how much it helps it you.

 

I never look at the keyboard unless I am trying to hit the "~" key.

 

I've learnt to type without looking from runescape those times spent in world 2 trying to buy/sell my shit have kinda payed off i suppose, it came in really handy through my school years not only being able to touch type but to do it quickly aswell although, i do get afew typos

 

Yeah I type without looking, I can watch tv whilst doing it but that's generally from using the computer a lot

 

I look at first to make sure my position is right then I can type without looking for a long time.

 

I can clock up about 90wpm. All credit goes to oldschool World 2 merching

 

Yeah I can do 90-ish, earlier when I had a computer class my teacher would get pissed because I'd always be done before everyone else lol.

Sometimes I type but I look at my keyboard to make NO mistakes, it's as if a guitar player was looking when he played but he already knew the notes perfectly.
(That's how I see it when I type and look)

 

That's actually quite accurate now that I think about it.

funny thing is that i can type just as fast with my index and middle fingers as some do with all fingers

 

I type without looking, when i first started to play rs i used to type with 2 fingers. Then after a few years i got experienced now I can type wihtout looking

 

I can type without looking, and usually I do.

However sometimes I just prefer to look at the keyboard every now and then to know where the trick keystrokes are such as * & ' _ = # you get the point.

 

I can only type my emails, usernames, and passwords without looking.

 

Most of the time I don't look.

 

I'm around 120 WPM

Oh and I looks sometimes and sometimes I don't.
