Sythechat as good as a PM? [to staff]

I have a question.

As you probably know Sythechat is only accessable to the owner of a sythe account. (Can even be setup with two factor authorization I believe)


For the purpose of a report is it acceptable in the same way that a PM would be? Or at this point should I really require a user to go on sythe and PM me separately?

Logically it would make sense that a sythechat conversation is as good as a PM, but I just wanted to hear another opinion before I start treating sythechat the same way I would a PM.

 

As of right now, getting a PM verification would be best while the sythechat is still in a beta stage and buggy. Maybe once it makes a full release.
