For anyone who hasn't seen this yet... I found it interesting :love:.

Some people actually did site-to-store and got their products! That is awesome... I just hope they don't get the refund and the $10 gift card they are giving out.

I bet they're going to ship the priced up items and not honour the priced down items.

That's bull, if you go in a store and a product has a 10$ price tag instead of a 100$ tag on it, you'll pay 10$ if you argue it. Price is as displayed. If they don't honour them that's ridiculous.

If you order something and it's overpriced it's your fault so those are w/e.

Yeah, some people argue that stuff in the store and try really hard and succeed... but I've seen it not work. In the end, they can refuse whatever they want, as long as it is a mistake. I mean it is in their ToS.

That's low. Multi-billion dollar company can't pay for it's mistakes

 

You have to understand that they do NOT have to honor the price IF it was a mistake (This include both online/store sale). They DO, however according to the law, have to honor the price if it was on purpose to lure customers to buy then charge them a different price. You also have to prove that it was on purpose in small claim court as well.

If you act quick and find a way to buy the product before they notice the price error and it is in your hands, they cannot force you to return the item because the sale was final.

Most companies usually honor the price JUST to keep your business and others as they will make money off you later on because of great services.

That's just how business works

 

Yea, and I recall them or some other company honoring this... but when the savings are too great... they'd rather take the $10 loss for each gift card that is sent.

 

Lol meh. I was that annoying little kid who would go into stores and swap price tags on shit.

 

My uncle got the 3 seasons of Dragonball Z for like nothing because someone had dropped it in the $5 movie bin. The management didn't want to argue so they just went with it.

 

Yeah, you can usually get away with these kinds of things =p. I never do it, personally because I'm -too- honest... which is a thing. I hate not being able to lie IRL =[.
