I find that very offensive considering I am korean. To be honest, I can't tell asians apart either. Nor can I tell specific indians apart, nor europeans, nor africans, etc. We all do look the same.

No, you can't distinguish any difference whatsoever, I'm Asian and I got a 5. Btw, this topic isn't necessarily racist to a degree, but it is somewhat offensive. As stated by HeavenLord, you really can't tell Europeans, Africans or Indians apart, so why are people so fixated towards telling Asians apart. I mean I've never asked a Black person are you Somali, Moroccan or Kenyan (etc)? Most likely they wouldn't know; this could be a reason why Americans ask Asians, because Americans know that Asians stick to their culture and really haven't assimilated much, either way, it still is offensive to only ask Asians and not any other race.

I think people of their own race have an easier time recognizing their own specific racial features. Hence why Asians are doing so well on this quiz.

Personally I can differeniate between Viet, Korean, Jap, Chinese, Lao, Thai, etc. pretty well regardless of that stupid test so I didn't take it. That and I didn't want to register. Oh yeah, all white people look the same regardless of them being American, Russian, German, Dutch, etc. That's not offensive either.

 

I think you are way too uptight if you find what he said offensive.

 

I think one reason people mention Asian in this debate is because generally they have the same hair color and style ( Generally) this adds more confusion and make those people in general look similar. White or Caucasians have many different hair colors, styles and looks.
