Vps?

This is the first time I am hearing about this whole VPS shiz. Can someone on Sythe that knows this stuff explain the basic of it?

Also, the purpose it serves to botters?

 

its a computer you rent out to use remotely so that you dont need to use up your computer's resources.

If you've ever used TeamViewer, it's somewhat like that.

It's pretty much like a second computer that has it's own specs, memory, etc. Therefore, you can use a VPS to run multiple bots without lagging the shit out of your computer or jacking the CPU usage to 100%.

Simple version - It's like a second computer, on your computer, that you can control through a program similar to TeamViewer.

 

Everything those guys said up there, AND you can run for 24/7 so you can shut down your computer while your bots are still running on the VPS.

 

where can you get vps's and how much does it cost?

 

You can ask the mod Jimmy for valid information of how it pertains to botting, he bots and uses them.

Its very simple to use Like someone said its like "Teamviewer" Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Remote Dekstop Connection and you are there! Ready to use yours VPS Go buy VPS then you will get a yours VPS IP then you type that IP in Remote Dekstop Connection thing press Connect. Then type password and woala! You connected and ready to use your VPS

Also, I was wondering if I could do this:

Get 4 accounts and bot 8 hours on 2 then switch to the other to and keep switching about every 8 hours on the VPS.

Would that work?
