    A warning, regarding to PayPal.

The ammount of scams through PayPal have gone up the past few days, as far as I know. It's a shame that there are so many scams going on right now with PayPal, I know that the people getting scammed have to blame themselves for the biggest part, seen the fact there are being given so many warnings lately about paypal but I'll repeat it once again:

Do NOT accept paypal as a payment option when selling to newcommers/people you deem not to be trustworthy enough.

I understand that there still remain people who are not trying to scam you, but at this point I can't advise you anything else then to avoid paypal payments from those people, atleast for the larger amounts, as much as possible.

There are plenty of other ways to receive payments/make a payment which are as good, or even better as paypal. MoneyBookers/Western Union/Money Gram etc.
    PlayerAuctions can be used, ofcourse.

When using PP does it make it better to gift the money rather than send it?

It doesn't really matter, I believe, once they want to chargeback they will do it and you can't do allot against it unless you have enough proof of the trade, which isn't easy in most of the cases.

Well, I've seen it happen quite a bit more the past few days, but I could be mistaking. And also, the number of newcommers buying huge ammounts of Rsgp increased quite a bit I believe. Nonetheless, I'm just giving out a (another) warning.

Thanks for the link you posted, and yes it is a extremely usefull topic Christ made a few days ago. Added it to my post.

I dont care since this doesent really apply to me since i can accept payment they could claim back and take there money but i still have the money. Since i used 2 acc one to recive the money then later send to my ''real'' acc

The other acc gets - lets say -$50
but my ''real'' acc is $50 richer.
ofc this means i cant use my other acc since its -$50 but il just make a new one.

What the person said above me is possible to do, but I think your only doing this by large trades, I guess? Otherwise you'll have to make allot of accounts, not that its hard to do but still.

Submitted 21 pictures of evidence including MSN convo, trading the items on RS, and even the user being banned on Sythe. Paypal still went in the buyer's favor. Luckily I withdrew the money to another account, and I'm left with a negative balance. The payment was also sent as a gift with a note that the buyer was purchasing virtual items. It's completely unbelievable how biased Paypal is.

    This is old news.

Google checkout, moneybookers, WU, are all better alternatives to PayPal for sellers.

    PA works well, too.

It's PayPal's policy that you can't dispute a transaction for virtual items even if you record all of the trade. Paypal seem to have a zero tolerance for this and will let the buyer receive his money again.
