How to make money while getting up Firemaking

This is a very simple guide, it will only work with willow logs, and maple logs.

Willow logs are priced at 15gp each.
Maple logs are priced at 57gp each.

Simply purchase one of the two types of logs, and after you light every log in your inventory turn around and pick up all the ashes.

Ashes are priced at 58gp each.

Ashes will take some time to sell in the Grand Exchange, but if your tight on cash this is a good way to accumulate some junk for trade.

 

Sounds like a big hassle but you are right..

 

Its a pretty poor way to make money (and boring) but its pretty good for junk trades I guess.

 

Could just do a herb run every hour.
If your using willow/maple it should still profit.
But who would legitly get 99 Firemaking on those. Take forever

Yah i didnt say it was the easiest way, you could just cut your on logs to lol

 

Just An Example

With the time spent picking the ashes up you could have killed 1 green dragon, which is combat xp and about 8k cash (bones and hide)

8000/58 = 137 ashes

Dont waste your time picking up the ashes ^^

 

you can do so much in the time to pick up the ashes, im just saying. For examply catch a kingly/catch a dragon/farm some herbs/kill graardor/kill any gwd boss/chop magics/mine runite ore/collect money from miscellania/kill black dragons/blue dragons/steel dragons/iron dragons/mithril dragons/pk 1m+.. there is so much

What happens if your a skiller and the only skill you have gotten up is firemaking?

Good idea, It is time consuming but it makes sence.

 

It takes some time for the ashes to sell but they do sell and you do make a profit if you actually have the time to pick up the ashes.
