Since it seems some users who are vaders seem to be repeated problems, while using the same skype, would it be possible to make it so that whenever their skype name is posted it would notify the staff via the filter that currently blocks certain things?

This would be useful in some aspects even more so than an IP ban, as some vaders commonly change ips but use the same skype (mlynch911, conor.grimsley37 to name some of the skype names of vaders)

Would this be possible?

 

It's also very possible for these vaders to make a new Skype. They can fabricate an entire identity. While many vaders are caught out by using the same Skype, many are not. The doesn't solve the problem, just marginally chips away at it

 

Surely any headway that can be made towards ridding the site of vaders and preventing scams is good?

I support the OP but I doubt it is possible to do. Would also make majority of ban evader searching redundant.

Whenever someone posts something like that someone usually finds out anyways.

 

This would require us to create and manage a database of Skype id's for banned users, and could become difficult for those who get unbanned or pardoned if someone forgets to remove their name off the list. Ultimately this is a lot of work with little reward. Going to deny this.
