Strange hack.....

Well I logged out this morning within 2 mins someone was on my account, It's currently being used to skill so all wealth is off it. They took a few mill is fishing supplies but put 10k coal and 200 prayer pots in the bank. Also all my chaotics and other dung items were in my invent. Also just a note, they knew my pin.


It gets weirder!!

I recovered the account then so obviously it kicked them off, I changed the password to someone random, and continued skilling. Logged off a few hours later for 20 mins, tried to log back in, someone on my account. Similar thing, they had my Chaotics on, full agility, herb cape. I logged out inside a solo dung as I was in a rush. The same thing has happend 3 times today, every time I change the password, I log out for 30 seconds and someone is on the account. No damage is ever done. My chaotics are always left and over none tradeables, 6 fire capes all untouched. It's so fucking weird!!!


Give me your input please.

are you botting? or maybe its one of your bro's or friends that ae trying to scare you, reboot your computer(you probably got a keylogger) problem solved orrr change your password again through another computer or another laptop and dont play till you reboot your comp

 

It sounds almost like a prank... like a friend or family member who knows your account is going on there and just messing with you. If that couldnt possibly be the case though, then I would HIGHLY reccomend cleaning your whole computer with a good anti-virus program, and scanning with Malwarebytes aswell for any possible infections. Then change your password, recoveries, and your bank PIN immediately.

 

Don't change your password this time... instead run a virus scan and remove all of the keyloggers that are on your computer. THEN change the password.

It seems like someone knows your personal information.

If you bought the account, it's most likely the original owner recovering it.

 

It's my account from the start, Someone knew the first pass but not the ones I've changed it to. I've done 3 full pc scans now and all have come back clean. Um yeah botting on rsbuddy and a bit on rsbots. I'm very smart when it comes to phishing and viruses and i never click them. I tracked the I.P to Australia and I'm in the UK. It's bizzare.

 

All I can say is try and keep your account and computer as secure as you can!

 

The reason I see is that they are noob hackers and think it's a good Idea to keep the account. A veteran hacker knows that you wait at least a month before cleaning the bank again. Basically, leave a note in the notes section calling them a failure, wait a few days so they can train your acc for you, and then change your email, pass, and stuff.

 

Seems like someone might have access to the email thats registered to the account. They probably don't want to drop the stuff because they know you irl.

 

No one IRL knows I play RS, I live with my girlfreind and I work in a bank so RS keeps on the down low haha. They wern't changing the passwords they all stayed the same, if they were recovering then the password would change.

 

You might have a key-logged run a full scan of your computer.

 

Sounds like a scare tactic to me

 

I've ran 3 full scans now. No one has any details about my account, not enough to do this.

Shit lol, if i were you i'd immediately change your password on another computer and wipe your system.

 

LMFAO if she knew I spent my nights staking thousands of dollars she'd go mad. Yeah system restore time I think tbh :/

 

K so here is what you do:

step 1. Restart your comp

step 2. Go to my computer and get to the part were it says start up
a list of files will be shown look for something that is unfamiliar and delete it, it will be typically a cmd or a jar

step 3. Now click show hidden folders or something( it's an option like in view or properties) and see of you see thing like I said in step 2. And Selye those

step 4. Delete your trash

Step 5. Chang your pass and see what happens

or

wipe your comp if you are keyloggrd he has info to your other things like paypal and another things like that so
