I made a deal with Zerkerfist where if I purchased an account (he was selling it for his friend) he would guarantee that he covers it, and if he cannot, he would give back the purchase price plus any gold on the account. I don't have any proof on how much was on the account, so I do not necessarily expect that back, but I do expect the account to be recovered. Under our agreement, once the account is recovered, the first login attempt into the account needs to be recorded, and if the IP is not mine, I would receive a refund. In addition, if the IP matches to Zerker's I expect it to be dealt with accordingly. In the event that the IP is somehow not recorded, it would automatically default to a refund.

Please allow Zerkerfist and/or his friend 24-48 hours to attempt to recover the account. However, if they do not respond in a timely manner I expect them to be banned until further notice.

that is understandable. I don't think the account will ever be recovered though. there is a small chance it could be locked though, as you will be the 4th IP attached to the acc

I will obviously place a 7 day pin on the account, but in the event that it gets recovered and you cannot recover it in time to get the items out of the bank safely, I ask that you cover my loss. I will be using it for staking, and I have a main, so I obviously won't put outrageous amounts on there, but I don't want to put 1B, have it permanently recovered and then lose 1B on top of that

If it gets locked I don't expect a refund, but I expect full help getting it unlocked. In the event that it gets somehow perm locked, I'd be willing to split the risk 50/50, for the purchase period, and if it gets locked because it gets recovered by someone else I obviously want a refund.

and Grave, about your second condition with the bank pin, I could agree to that. But you would have to provide evidence that proves without a doubt EXACTLY how much money you had on the account secured in the bank
so it would be your responsibility to document that very carefully

What we mean is that if anything happened to the account at all, as the seller, Rstrader would be responsible for the refund. I will likely pitch in and help him a bit though
if Rstrader WAS the scammer however, the full responsibility would fall on my shoulders
