Vista to Linux/Ubuntu?

How many people have done this or run a Linux OS? What about dual-booting?

I was thinking about either dual-booting or going completely to Ubuntu.

Damn, I have CS3...I think there is a program called Wine? That helps Windows program run.

Is it complicated to do? What does it involve in everyday use? You choose what OS you want to run lol or what? And do you like it?
