    I see two sides to this, one for and one against.
    As it was said before, some matters are private and shouldn't be viewable.

    Then again, you could have the persons public profile tell you generally why they have been banned = Scamming,spamming.

    Bottom line:

    If someone is perm banned, avoid them completely.

    If someone is temp banned, they're probably ok.
