Will this be good enough?

Well, I'm planning on buying a 3rd gen, 8 gig Ipod touch.

I was just wondering if 8 gigs will be enough. I want to have a buncha apps but do they take up alot of space?

Help me out here guys!

 

I have a Ipod touch 16 GB and sometimes I need some extra space.
I really recommend a 32 or so.

 

Do the iPod Touch's support microsd memory cards? Or something along those lines?

Cause if it does it'll be cheaper to buy an 8 gig and just get a big memory card.

 

You can put a mem card into an Ipod?

My touch doesn't have a memory insert.
But I highly doubt it.

 

Try looking it up on Apple's site, they probably have a lot of answers.

 

Depends on how much you want to store on it... I would be good with 8 gigs but just to be safe I'd get 16.

 

Definitely splurge on the 32 gig if you live on the thing. It's definitely worth the two hundred extra dollars in my case.

 

Apps in themselves aren't big, but mine is 32gb and it's full.

Don't the 3rd gen ones only come in 16, 32 and 64?

 

They don't have a slot, you may be able to plug something in but I don't know.

 

I called Wal-mart yesterday and they said they didn't have it. I'm still wondering if 8gb will be enough to fit all apps and songs.

 

Depends on how many songs you have. Apps don't require much space so unless you have 7+GB of music you should be fine with an 8 gig.

I have an 8Gb and it's doing just fine, half filled atm. I have a lot of music I like too and about 2 and a half pages of apps. But if you are going to get more, then it'd be safe to get at least 16.

then you theres no way you can take up 5gb of space with apps lol

 

8GB should be enough, although if you want to feel safe and are going to instlal cracked apps I would suggest 16gb.
