    Explanation of the trade:hired to do graphic work
    Amount scammed: 90m osrs
    How they scammed: gave me a 2-3 days estimation on job completion it has been 8 days and his T.O.S
    says that after 5 days (120 hours) i am able to get a full refund. he is denying my refund
    also he outsourced a job without notifying me that he would not be the performing my designs upon the transaction being placed. Even though on his graphics post he states that "I'm very honest about my abilities, but I have a very trained and experienced eye for quality. You will not be disappointed”.

    Okay first of all. Right after you paid, I asked if you were in a rush for this, you said you were in no rush in order to receive a higher quality final result. I also use the language PROBS and PROBABLY. Those words don't translate to guarantee.

    You started asking for a refund not even 48 hours after payment when I'd already outsourced the work to be done. You asked to see something within 24 hours or you'd like a refund. I met your request.

    I then gave my first real time of completion saying less than a week on the 24th. You asked for a refund but I can't refund you when it's being worked on (which I'm proving) nearly everyday, and still in the time frames I said and you technically agreed with saying you weren't in a rush in order to get a better end result.

    @Justaman kept messaging me everyday, which is fine, and at this point I'm also concerned about the amount of work being done by my artist. I say I'm going to contact my artist, and if substantial progress hasn't been made, I'll give him his refund.

    When I woke up to a response, I believe reasonable progress was made. All the coloring, shading and lining was done for the most detailed and core part of the work. I decline a refund because I think the most time consuming parts of the piece are done, and the order has been more fulfilled, than not fulfilled. If I wanted to shut you up, I'd draw my own maple trees in the background, and put some green in the background then there, that's what you get. No. I'm trying to deliver you a quality product mate.

    the thing is where we are is 8 days in and your estimate was 2-3 days your t.o.s says what i am stating and using as my backing to get my refund. you made your rules and now you dont want to use them, because it is effecting you negatively.

    Look bro, you probably got cleaned at the duel arena and you're just mad and looking to get your money back for something you regret purchasing. You asked for a fucking refund after like 30 hours bro. 1. The work is evidently getting done 2. I've communicated with you every single time you've messaged me 3. I've been transparent about everything.

    Here you are calling me a scammer when (I ALSO APOLOGISE FOR THIS AND HAVE COUNTLESS OF TIMES) issues come up that delay people. This isn't me scamming you, idk why you're trying to make it sound like I am.

    the only things that currently matter is
    1. 2-3 days estimate for completion of job. (started on 04/21/2020)
    2. current time since payment is 8 days.
    3. your T.O.S "if 5 days or 120 hours have passed after my given estimate, you'll be eligible for a full refund".

    i guess this is what happens when you higher someone to do Graphics for you and they higher someone to do it for them. and that of who they hired was unable to fulfill the request in the time given to them, and now that they have been exposed and are 100% in the wrong and at fault they do some garbage halfassed editing to try and fix the problem so they dont have to receive any punishment on there account for breaking there own T.O.S

    As well as in your first post you are stating that you used the word "PROBS" and that cancels the fact you said 2-3 on an estimation for the art to be completed. Estimation means it could or couldn't be exactly that time frame. which is why in your T.O.S you give yourself the 5 day barrier to help you protect yourself in these situations. which in my case it did end up going over your time frame. Which in your T.O.S says "this will be very rare" which means it could "PROBS" happen.

    It's clear that you are not satisfied with the current state of the GFX and it's indeed not what you ordered.

    @ARTDEAL3R you estimated 2-3 days and more than 120 hours have passed after your given estimate, therefore @Justaman has a right for a refund according to your ToS.

    @Justaman @ARTDEAL3R do you think that you could come to a possible agreement of a price reduction for a few extra days, or do you insist on a refund @Justaman?

    but I thought the rules (which this rule has been used against me before) if we re-negotiate, that's what stands?

    I also told OP he'd still be receiving the finished product along with my temporary finish.

    I don't think it's fair to leave it up to him to decide whether he wants to discuss a price reduction or wants a full refund. I've given him un-watermarked work to his specifications. He's gotten what he's put money towards.

    Came to an agreement. 50% refund + the work will still be completed to high quality with no current time frame. Paying him 45m back now.

    Amazing! I'm happy to hear that.

    I'm going to close this report. @Justaman feel free to open a new report, should ARTDEAL3R fail to deliver what was promised in a reasonable time frame (this is vague and subjective, but it shouldn't really take weeks to finish).

    Lastly, some people have voiced their concerns about outsourcing GFX.
    I've updated Graphics Marketplace Rules with the following: When you outsource/hire workers to complete a service for you, you need to inform the client of that before a deal is agreed upon.

    EDIT: I forgot to add, @ARTDEAL3R threatening that you will rather get banned than refund your customer will result in a Trade With Caution rank next time, even if you come to an agreement. That's really inappropriate and shady way to run a business on sythe.
