    Violating Paypal ToS?

I'm making this post because bitcoins/cryptocurrencies/currency exchanging is against Paypal ToS and I'm a bit worried for the continuity of my Paypal/BTC trading.

If you're buying Runescape gold and reselling it back at higher price, does that not fall into the currency exchanging part in the Paypal ToS too, and would thus be not allowed?

Can you distinguish RSGP and BTC as being different in some kind of a way? They're both essentially digital currencies.
There's plenty of RSGP merchants here on Sythe, the people who trade really large amounts still seem to get away with it somehow.

What will Paypal do if they find out that you're violating the ToS?
I understand that they like to limit accounts - but lets say that you have a Verified account and that you can unlimit it easily - what would be the next thing they'd do?

I'll be back in a few hours, let me know what you think about the Paypal ToS circumstances and if there might be a workaround for merchanting currencies over Paypal.

I think digital items/currencies aren't allowed at all. I know they aren't covered by paypal protection.

If you break the TOS your account gets limited. Usually they'll send you multiple warnings via email or other communication methods before limiting your account. If you ignore them they will limit your account and hold any funds related to the account. In which case you will be unable to remove your credit card information or bank account information from the account until they unlimit your account.

Like stated above, they will limit your account if you break their ToS. Exchanging currencies such as Bitcoins is against their ToS, they allow the sale of virtual items in games but don't offer seller protection.

If you break there ToS once they will warn and limit you. If you break it twice they will not remove the limit and there will be some text saying. Sorry we can no longer offer service to you. But they never know it is unless you state it. I recommend just labeling it as general virtual goods and if you feel unsafe to use a middleman. Usually they only no longer offer services to people when people send them unauthorized funds more than once so you should be fine honestly.
