Hello, and welcome to I_D_B's UE Guide on how to Create Folders and MultiTask on the iPhone

I am making a video on how to do this, which will be done tomorrow hopefully, and uploaded by Wednesday. This will be to accompany the guide I am making, instead of pictures.

I got to know about this topic by owning an iPhone, which I use daily, even sometimes to access Sythe. I have owned a 3G, 3GS and I currently own a iPhone 4 32GB. To do multi-tasking and creating folders, you must have iPhone software 4.0 or higher.

Creating Folders
To create a folder on the iPhone, you hold your thumb on one application, until it starts shaking. Then once the application is shaking, drag it on top of another application, and it will create a folder. It will let you rename the folder, and also add more applications into it, by doing the same, but instead of onto another application, onto the folder which was previously made.

Multi-Tasking
Multi-Tasking is one of the most simple things on the iPhone 4. Double click the home button on the iPhone, and there will be instead of the bottom bar which is fixed, a bar pop out. This will have four applications on it, and what you last did on them will be saved in the memory, as once you open 4 more applications, what you did is forgotten, unless you saved it. This is also a way to see what applications people have been on, when they have borrowed your phone, as it will show up to 20. If the iPhone's lock screen is on, however, and you are listening to music, and double click the home button, the music options come up, underneath the time. If you unlock the phone and do this, to get the multi-tasking menu, you have to slide from left to right with your finger, and the music menu will appear.

Do you really need a video for this?
Multi Task: Double Press home button
Create a folder: drag app ontop of another app.

 

Some people may not be able to do this, so I will shop them how, then they will understand.

Some people may not know what the home button is.

A video will make it easier to understand.

I suggest perhaps you use the Iphone's screen shot feature to add some images to your guide it will make it more interesting.
