Tutorial Island after Dungeoneering lulwut?

I recently found an old notepad with some account information that I made because of the funny name about 2 years ago I never left tutorial island on it so when I logged on to it today it, to my surprise, it was still there

It's not really that big of a deal, I just think it's silly how all the old tutorial programming is still in the game

There's no differences that I could see... It just seems kinda odd that FaGex wouldn't remove the NPC's and the programming of the tutorial stages from the game to conserve memory. Seeing as it's not in use anymore.

 

Nice find wish I could still get an account with all level 1's instead of having an ugly looking 4 woodcutting or 4 mining :\

TUT island never got removed, there's just a new tutorial.
i believe i have a few acounts there myself.
they might be worth something later?



well, i didn't open the stat tab yet. but the exp thingy is next to minimap, proof enough?

 

Not bad, they should be worth a fair bit as time progresses.

 

I have 2 rare names still on the old tut island, just waiting a year or two to get something out of them

 

I think I read somewhere that Jagex are going to make a teleport to tutorial island just to "experience" it again, Idk. Maybe thats why they still have it up.

 

i made a new accoutn yesterday and the whole tutorial island is changed. maybe if u hold onto that account u might make some money.

 

accounts on old tut island will never be reare , They are ompletely pointless and useless.

 

Apparently Jagex are going to Put everyone who's in Old Tut into the New tut game.

I wonder why they removed the old tutorial island. It is so much better than the dumbass dragon thing you have to do now...

 

I suppose it's not really rare right now, but in time it might be. Just as how accounts with 9hp weren't rare back when classic migrated to rs2, but now they're extremely rare.

 

Nice, too bad there's really no use to these kind of accounts.

 

But 9HP account can participate in all of the skills and be shown off, whereas accounts stuck on the old tut island can't do anything. I would pay maybe 5 cents for one max, just to see it again without orb of oculus.
