A Guide to making simple bumping extension in chrome

I was searching for information on bumpers for sythe and it looks like the majority of them are paid services. For the uninitiated non-coder I wanted to put together some copy and paste for anyone looking for a very simple option.




This is a very simple implementation of an autobumper, that requires a browser open on the thread you want to bump. It requires very very basic knowledge of javascript and can be built upon to make it better as well.

In the source zip you will find 5 files.

- popup.html
- popup.js

1) In order to start using this #1 you need to make sure you have a whitelisted IP for auto-bumping on sythe, this requires the $300 donor rank.

2) Open extensions in Chrome and tick the developer mode radio button:


3) Extract the zip you downloaded to it's own folder and keep it somewhere, we cannot delete this.

4) Click the load unpacked button in chrome extensions:




5) Navigate to the folder where you extracted what was in the zip folder, and set that folder as your unpacked extension location.

6) Pin your extension for quick access but it should be all loaded and ready to use, just navigate to the sandbox test thread and click send a few times to make sure it is working, then go to your thread and let it run!
