Any fighters here?

I'm talkin real fighters, not someone who claims they're hard cause they won a street fight or two. I trained shaolin kempo for 3 years, Muay thai for 2 years and I've been doing brazilian jiu jitsu for about a year.

I trained at King Ken's MMA for mostly muay thai, and American Fighter for mainly BJJ but some striking once and while.

I now currently train for free at college, muay thai and BJJ classes.

Anyone else training or thinking about starting?

No I don't fight, because in my opinion it is for tools. Self-defense is one thing, but fighting for competition is stupid.

I've done judo and muay thai.

I won't consider myself a serious fighter, but am far more apt than the average person. I also orignally began with Shaolin Kung Fu, but I found most the forms and training to be impratical. Judo helped my grappling skills A LOT, but the whole "gee" thing is pretty stupid. As for muay thai, I suck at that, I'm not too good of a striker.

 

So your 18 and have been training for 6 years?
18-6=12
hmm where im from the only fighting classes we have for 12 year olds is karate. But what ever.
I have done four years of jiu jitsu. And a year of MMA training.

I've done some kick boxing in the past it used to be my passion, now its tennis and mountain biking. I done it at KB academy.

 

Im actually a pretty serious Boxer, been in alot of tournaments. Train every 3 days. Dont realy like any martial arts, been boxing for 2 years. Currently have a record of 14W 5L 8KO's so im not too bad. Although 3 of the losses where in the semi's.
Also do alot of body building, im strong yet remain fast. Have met Muhammad ali And Laila. Respect anyway about your martial arts. Better than nothing.

 

ive done a fair bit of judo. thats about it

 

I did Tae-Kwon-Do for 5 years, boxing for 1 year.

I stopped boxing a while ago, but thinking of starting again soon.

 

i took tae kwon do for 3 years but got tired after going into highschool , but i still rememmber alot .

There's a pretty respectable boxing team at my school, the trainers there are all golden gloves for the most part, only downside is you have to pay like a few bucks a month to train. I might check it out.

 

in 3 days it will be a year in muay thai, 3 years bjj here still goin hard =]]

I did wresting in 9th and 10th grade if that counts.

mostly with girls not only in canvas but anywhere
where she will be comfortable... kidding

I did judo wayback in my elementary days..

 

I do MMA. Just, a bit of everything. No definate styles. But my coach has trained in all sorts.

This morning, in a rugby match, some kid who was bigger than me from the other side swung for me, I easily dodged it and punched him back... Hard. He didn't know what hit him. He got sent off as well, for throwing the first punch.

Off of matial arts, Boxing, wrestling, kickboxing.

 

I did karate for about a year or 2 almost got my black belt but i figured it was a waste of $100 bucks a month.

I want to do muay thai, gymnastics, or jit jutsui but im kind of scared lol they do some crazy stuff.
