Gambling.

Whenever i get a skin i think "Im gonna save then trade up to a knife", But eventually never end up doing it and gambling away all my skins.

Any idea on how i can actually stop myself gambling away these skins? Regardless of the price ill gamble it to try and get better.

 

Sounds like you have a very bad addiction with skin gambling. Id say just sell it on the market and save using steam wallet funds. That way there's a 7 day trade restriction on anything you buy from the market, preventing you from instantly gambling it when you feel like it.

 

its not that bad i had a few skins for around 3-4 weeks then got bored of them and no one would want to trade so i betted them.

I only really bet $1-10 skins here and there. but it all adds up.

Yeah just sell them and hold onto steam wallet funds. Buy the item you want when you have enough, it's a small loss but you save time trading up and risking you gambling them. I'm MG1

I'm a semi professional player on CSGO never deranked from GE since rank system was released.. I earned more than 10k on gambling..trust me.. if you don't have budget on your addiction and you can't take a lost.. don't gamble.. gambling takes responsibility and knowledge that you can win a lot or you can lose everything..which ruined a lot of lives..
AND VERY IMPORTANT WHEN YOU WIN KNOW WHEN TO STOP!
It may take time.. I remember a friend of mine Everytime I win I always give him from 3cent to 1$skin.. he always sold everything cases keys shittty skins.. now his inventory is worth 1k so just be patient

I started with $500-$1,000 a few times. All of those times I managed to make it to around $10,000 and proceeded to lose it all shorty after. Once I managed to make it to $20,000... and of course lost it all once again. I just didn't know when to stop. If I had stopped and not been greedy/stupid every time I gambled in the past with skins, I would be up around $30,000 - $40,000 now.

After that I learnt my lesson. I also realised, the main reason I was doing it was because I was bored. I didn't NEED the extra money/skins.

All of these sites are rigged, just like the runescape dicing sites they try so hard to claim they're provably fair etc, trust me. I used to have a friend running one of them, the odds are ALWAYS to the owner.
