Community General Help section.

Hey, I've been noticing alot of threads going into places like feedback and Community General that are
asking for help, why not make a section for help.

here are a few examples of threads.

I just got scammed, what do I do?

where can I see my reported post

Question.

Is the virtual goods market illegal?

If threads like these were all in the same area it would make finding answers easier.

 

Support, there used to be a section for Sythe.org related help but it was taken out when they removed User Educations//Community Assistant.

It would be good to have a section like that.

 

All help related questions should be going in the Help, Requests & Tech. Support. I also went ahead and created a Sythe FAQ a week or two ago where people can ask Sythe related questions and I'll tend to them. But I'm a little confused as to why they are appearing in Community General, someone keeps approving the threads to go in there, not sure why.

 

I believe the reason why is usually the help section is close to where the announcements would usually be (as I have seen on other forums). So members look at the top forums and just find a place to post. Possibly you would have to move the forums to the category: Our Community and there shouldn't be anymore problems. Just what I am thinking.

Or you probably would have to add something to the description about help/questions dealing with Sythe which should grab their attention.


oh and I do support your idea Travis. It could just be a sub-forum as well.

Hmm, why not move the help section toOur Community then?

may make it easier for people to find.

 

Support, I've been thinking about this for a while. It seems handy for general vB and RS-blackmarket info. People could answer other's questions and help out the community like that.

Rename help to Tech Support.
