Will luring even be possible anymore?

Will there actually be anyone to lure when the update comes.. Jagex will most likely make a big thing about luring on the front page when it updates, I doubt anyone will be stupid enough to be lured these days.

They didn't make a big deal about it before they won't make a big deal about it now.

This is a great opportunity for luring as there are tons of new people who joined after luring went extinct.

 

I think its as possible as it can even be. Even if there's a wall there WILL be noobs or idiots who will go in.

Louis made a good point. they probably wont even make a big deal about it. and also like he said there will be many many people playing after luring became ancient/extinct.

There are going to be a LOT of new folks that haven't heard of luring and so they will end up getting lured.

So yes, I think luring will still be possible.

 

Just wait till the nooby's come. It may not pick up a lot for awhile, but it will come back.

 

Think Jagex will keep this matter at hand, but won't make it "known" to the public. Making an announcement about luring will just make more people try it. RS has a whole new generation of players who know nothing about luring. Why wouldn't jagex let the few who do do it.. instead of making the entire population know.

Also, even with the ditch; it'll be like luring with the wall... Lets hope they don't nerf it somehow.

 

I agree with Tmoe, if they nerf it I will be extremely frigging angry.

yea, will be luring for barrows, furies, whips etc, doubt can lure rares tho. But quite likely can lure cash piles

luring is fun, but i feel bad for the people who get caught out. but you know, kids will be kids >.>

 

Jagex could have been private messaging the kid getting lured back in the day saying dont do it and they probally still would get killed, kids are just stupid. Its deffinately gonna happen infact it will probally be easier then before.

 

If in some way they don't nerf it, yeah I believe it will be easier. The only thing is that rares will harder to get because there are less rares than there were before.
