    Game Help

I am making a game in vb 08 or java, but i am completely stumped on making the player screen. I have been trying to figure it out for a while now but i need it like runescape (just an example). Were there is the screen you see in side a huge map. Again i have been trying in both java and vb 08 so i dont know if possible in vb 08 thanks.

well i was making one, i just kept the character in the center of the screen, used GetASyncKeyState or something to change the direction it faced, and had the map move around the character. As for the boundaries, it just requires logical thinking to do that.

i made mine in C# though.
