    Vayne Advice

Hey guys, I've been lurking the LoL section for a while, but have been playing it heaps lately, gg to UNi, but oh well.

I need some advice on the mechanics on how to play most ADCs and in particular Vayne and Caitlyn which I play the most at the moment.

I have a solid understanding for a beginner, last hitting and all is a breeze and I can harass the enemy team pretty well (Cait) not so much Vayne cause of her shorter range but mid-late she owns.

What are some common techniques I can go and use to get some easier kills, cause early game I manage to weaken them down, but then they get past their turret and even with flash + tumble + barrier they still seem to get away.

Using my e has been abit of a struggle since opportunities to clip a wall are low, but I use it to escape fights by pushing them back, is there anything else I can focus/learn on to do better in bot lane.

Especilly against Xin, oh how I can't push with that guys spear stun. It's just annoying.

Oh, I play Oceania as well. If anyone else would wanna see how I play.

Well, E used to have 650 range. It was an excellent way to get that last hit in, but it's been nerfed.

Remember that your E (playing Vayne) applies your W, so train using: AA + Tumble (you can do it with almost instant 2 bolts - try) -> E. You'll hit him 3 times, hit him with your W and he won't be able to trade with you because he'll be pushed back.

I watched alot of videos on " summoner academy" for ADC'ing and how to harass, I highly suggest it if you are having trouble with dueling. Also, there are plenty of higher elo players in Reddit that can spectate your game and talk about it with you or run normals for some quick tips as well. :) Best of luck to you!

Honestly as Vayne a lot of it is practice (as said by imp in an interview) you'll eventually get better, i know this sounds like a cliché answer because this can be said for almost all champions but for vayne it is especially true.
Vayne is incredibly strong right now, just make sure you're able to make it out the lane without falling behind in farm and you should almost always out-perform your counterpart unless you're getting zoned out of teamfights which shouldn't happen since you'd have peel and you'd melt whoever tryed to keep you away.
Also try to practice using tumble efficiently in lane, when i was smurfing in high silver i was surprised at how none of the vayne used the tumble combo's (incase you don't know it it's this: you AA the enemy champion, quickly tumble to the side and get another AA off) it makes you most win trades unless you're against something like a Quinn or Graves. It's great for harassing inexperienced adc's who are afraid by the sudden burst and won't even attempt to trade back too.

Vayne takes a lot of work do not expect to master him in 1 day. He is fast and durable the best thing to do with him is play passive harass when harassed take control of lanes by keeping your distance and using the ranged attack.

Just keep playing Vayne, eventually you'll understand how she rolls.

Vayne: I suggest working on using her tumble (Q) to gain positioning to condemn (E) enemy champions in to walls. The stun alone can give you an extra attack on the enemy, and your tumble (Q) should be up soon enough to disengage (if needed). I suppose having a great duo would help here, as you can't make plays such as this against an enemy Nami/Leona/etc. Also, don't forget about Vayne's Final Hour (R) which makes your tumble (Q) stealth for 1 second. This is why Vayne is OP late-game.

Caitlyn: Pretty standard advice here. Charge up headshot (passive) from the bush to pressure lane and get good poke off on the enemy adc, although this may also require a great support. Her (W+Q) combo can do some great damage during a disengage, which can be followed up with her ace in the hole (R) for crazy damage while taking near to none. Great trap placements can set up kills in the bot lane too, but remember if you pick Caitlyn: Pressure, pressure, pressure.
