Explanation of the trade: I hired the user to buy 5k soda ash & 5k buckets of sand for me on my Hardcore Ironman, This was totaly safe and the Hardcore status wasn't at risk.

How they scammed: User accidently banked my cash so he couldn't continue with the service, Instead of logging out safely he went on to go to the desert and do pyramid plunder to gain gold.
However he died in the process, which was totally unnecessary.
I lost my hardcore status on the account which makes it an pointless account for me.
I had a total level of 1400~ ish with 181 QP and ranked around 2250~ on the total level highscores.

Not sure how to solve this issue since its impossible to refund my account.

Side note:
The user did refund 100% of the gold paid for the service but only completed 33%.

But since he de-ironed it, maybe you'll get to have like 50-100% value of the account. Best guess is to wait and wait for the staff to discuss your case.. And they'll update you and cookie.

Your mistakes:
- You banked the cash.
- You went to the Desert without even asking to do so? And you didn't have enough common sense not to die? That should have been your number 1 priority, but instead you didn't bring food/waterskins? Makes no sense, and judging by the evidence I am inclined to believe it was an intentional sabotage.

I've had a higher up remove @wantacookie's DNT in the meantime as I can confirm I've received repayment. @Maps is currently away, therefore I'll leave this report open until we manage to get online during a similar time. I'll post here / lock this thread once I've given the payment to him.

 

The amount agreed upon earlier was 208M, which I have given to @Maps just now.
