perma high? Drug misuse? life ruined?

ok so on friday i took like 4 hits of some cheap weed then i drank like 8 beers and i never did feel high all night. now its wednesday and i feel high all the time and i cant fous on anything. life seems useless. i could literally stare at a wall for the whole day and not care. i cant talk to people, cant hear anyone, food doesnt taste, i dont feel pain unless its intense.. i dont know what im here for. everything is bland.. will this go away when the thc is out of my system? is there any getting better? i cannot life my life this way its all too much.. my buddies did the same thing and they are all fine.. i just want my life back...

edit: i cant focus on y studies, or watch tv

i was out in the 10 degree weather and may be sick i had been taking ibuprofin and mucinex prior to and after that night

edit edit: my foot wont stop tapping and im pretty sure i have an unrelated pain in my balls

 

I don't think you are "high" I smoke every day and I easily drink 8+ drinks in a night. I'm thinking it's just in your head honestly. Alcohol leaves your system within 24 hours and weed takes about a week if you've never smoked.

 

Sounds more like some kind of psychological or physiological issue, i'd go and see your local doctor.

I smoke pot basically 2-3 times a month and drink alcohol on a daily basis. You feeling something weird and thinking your high.. absolutely physiological man. Just think about what your saying man, lol.

 

I personally believe it's all in the mind, I never once have been high for days and I've taken some crazy stuff.

 

Probably you just made yourself believe, that you are high; I have been in a state before, where I wanted to quit PokerStars (poker client) on my laptop (whilst in the room in our accomodation room whilst on a festival) and I flashed doing it, but I couldn't move; Everything seemed blurry and the world was spinning with me; Roughly 5 hours later, I was drunk on the festival partying, being completely alright.

I can assure you, such as Permanent highness does NOT exist. Was it the worst time you did this? Maybe you were excited about it, and wanted the effects so bad, that after not feeling any, your mind told itself, that you are high, or something like that (in the mind).

I would rather assume you are sick, which would even make sense, since you were in the cold weather; I suggest you go check up with a doctor, tell them about the cold or sickness, etc. You might want to maybe check up with a psychiatrist too, just to be sure; They might have something better to say, than a doctor (if you aren't sick phisically).

 

Well that could be the case, my friend told me he took a hydro last night and still felt high. I guess it's just like a IV user seeing a needle and being like OMG I'm gonna get high and get that feeling.

 

It's in your head mate, maybe you should just go out and get some fresh air.

It's psychological. You think it's the weed giving you a high and hence your brain assumes it is. The more you worry over it, the stronger the connection. I've had loads of friends feel the same way after taking googs at a club, and feeling the effects weeks later. However, it was purely psychological.

I.E, you could genuinely be happy, but because your brain knows you've smoked up, you automatically think its due to that.

Stop thinking about it and you'll be fine.
