The whole situation is asinine. From a business standpoint, Sythe, I don't see how you could sit back and let an administrator who's unethical actions are causing such a controversy for your website which is ultimately going to lead in a decrease of activity (which has already become evident due to the goodbye threads of numerous notable people of this website, not to mention those who have ultimately stopped caring about this site in general (and have publically expressed as much through their actions. You may argue that this site will continue to draw new members and such a fact will not truly matter, but I would say that Runescape has seen it's day and this website's attempt to ledge itself into any new frontier will be dislodged by the stigma that you continue to allow it to carry.
It seems in many of your rebuttals that you simply try to discredit the original argument by dismissing it as a joke or a previously handled case, but if you view previous crimes as null then you are truly a fool. Would you allow O.J. Simpson to wed your daughter? I believe there is just circumstance in not allowing American's convicted of felonies to achieve high positions in American politics (yes, this is an example, yes the internet is not America.). The reasons why are obvious. I don't believe they need any explaining.
You claim that administrator are allowed to bend the rules, and while their is no arguing with you over the policies you set in place for your website, I believe you have construed these formerly simplistic words. I believe that in a selfless act, an administrator should have to ability to bend the rules, but in an instance in which the administrator seeks personal gain, then he is breaking the rules for the very instance they were originally created. That just seems fucking stupid, to be quite honest.
I fully intend to be banned for this post, and quite frankly do not care as I no longer hold Sythe.org in any sort of regard.
Why wasn't the original thread presented in full? Did you not have answers for all of the questions and areas originally addressed or did you wish that we remain ignorant, unaware as you count your unearned pennies from afar.
This website has turned into a mockery and while I do not blame your histrionic sense of narcism entirely, I do think your personality has a great deal to do with how you handle this website and perhaps your ego should take a step down when dealing with members of this site, as you aren't quite the unique snowflake that you believe yourself to be.
