Help me find this Anime. $5 Reward!

So i've been literally trying to find this anime FOR YEARS! Heres some info;

i know its all really vague but im trying to go off of what i remember.

it's going to be a tuffy... basically the plot (kinda) is about a boy (i think) who's in school one day and see's something fall from the sky, he picks it up and reads it... i think it asks him a question and he agree's to it... later on in the anime he gets followed by a girl.. turns out the girl is some sort of mecha and he uses her to fight monsters...

its a newer anime. released either in 2010 or 2011. it only has 1-2 episodes so far... im pretty sure each ep is an hour+ long also..

it has AMAZING animation... its either gg or horriblesubs who sub it.. for some reason i can kinda vaguely remember a yellow car in the show...

so anyway, help me find out what anime this is and ill reward you! thanks!

I can remember an manga book I read before when I was younger about this story line, but I can't put my finger on what it was called...

It's not futuristic at all, no one has special powers. It literally looks like karakura town (in bleach) or the city in Noragami but with much better animation and in episode 1 its a normal day for this kid until some crazy shit starts happening with a giant robot and some giant monster >_<

I can vaguely remember them repeatedly showing a yellow taxi cab like it was an important part of the show

Nope. Not a giant robot in flcl... By giant robot think of Big O size... size of a building.

It also had much better animation, movie quality.

Honestly amazing art and music but plot is subpar. Anime is finished now.plot doesn't sound too much like it though

Thinking more on it, it sounds like valvrave maybe.
