    I was wondering, does Sythe have an IRC channel of some kind?
    Or a chat at all?

    Sythe.org does not have an official IRC, but there is an un-official one...

    Just go to striked.org
    Channel is #Sythe


    There are a few rules:
    Use a nick relative to your Sythe name.
    Do NOT pester the staff.
    Don't be a nuisance.
