    http://modesto.craigslist.org/sls/2527206161.html

Basically.. Guy met with us at Starbucks.. Told us what we had to do.. Gave us Flyers.. And got our first and last names and numbers.

He never requested any other information.
    He never requested a resume.
He didn't even request a SSN

He said to hang them on peoples doors between the hours of 1pm-5pm..
Then call when we are done and tell him what streets we covered. Then he will send someone out to verify we did that.

Won't it be too dark then?
Won't most of them already be gone?

Can someone give me their input?

This is not really a job, just a task. And yes, I think it is legit if the guy is really from DirectTV.

as the other poster said this is more of a task than a job. A job is a long term thing this seems like a 1 time deal.

Not only that but if ypu're under the age of 18 I don't believe you can work at direct tv due to the possible electrical dangers in the business [ I may be wrong but I know dish network has this rule] and that goes for any job unfortunantly in the business. so that would be another reason why he is giving you the job under the table
