User History

My Suggestion is a history of each user on here.
basically Set it up so that we can see if anyone has been banned before and if so what reasons the mod/admin that banned him did it for ^^

 

There is a thread for that, besides with all the vaders and stuff it would be to hard and bothersome to do it. It has been suggested before and denied.

 

Imo its an amazing idea but there is not enough support for it if it has been denied and the mods have been working extremely hard this would be another task for them. I rather see the mods have a little more free time then they do already.

 

It has been denied already in the past. But it is a good suggestion, I cannot deny that.

 

Would come handy in a few cases. but shouldn't be applied for all.

It has already been said in this thread and I agree that it would take too much work and effort where there are more important things that the moderators could be focusing on. Not to mention I don't think it is all that important enough in the first place, because to be honest unless it was a permanent ban I really do not care why someone got banned. Chances are it was for infractions so you would have a giant thread saying infractions a ton of times.

 

Do you how many people are banned or TWC'd or temp banned every day? I just don't think this idea is practical enough, would require too much work.

It's not the mods jobs to tell us what happened to someone, it's their own business.

 

I don't think people should even know why someone got banned. But you can use the Where did _________ go thread? if you want to know.

 

All this is available on your user profile. All staff members can see this.

As for your suggestion, I'm completely against it. I have MANY false bans for things I was acquitted for. This could possible hurt the reputation of individuals for no reason.

then things like those should be cleared out, personally what i mean by what i said is to start it up now, like if they started this stuff now we wouldn't have to worry about it anymore and it would free up threads

-That's a complete waste of time. Staff have better things to be doing instead of going through my already negated bans and completely removing them from my profile. I believe only Globals (maybe Admins) can do this either way.

-I very rarely see threads made about a certain individual, and if it is, it's normally in the spam forum. There's one thread dedicated to "Where did ____ go?" which is a plenty good enough place to find out information on people.

 

For one, I believe all unbans are justified, therefore rendering old punishments irrelevant. No support.
