    Licenses for computer shops?

Friend and I are considering opening a small computer shop in Pennsylvania to get through college. Both of us are unsure of what to look up license wise though. Help please? Links/sources are appreciated

    Licenses for computer shops?

I own a computing business, the basic certs are what most people oogle at. Just remember, for every 1 happy customer they'll tell 5 people about you. For every pissed off customer they'll tell 20.

microsoft certs aren't a bad start.. neither is A+ or ccna. Business license obviouisly.

If you're interested in High paying security related jobs look at:

And finally, the creme de la creme of all the licenses / certs out there:

    L|PT

There's a list of certs ranging from least to greatest on a scale employers look at for professionalism. (And also difficulty) Disregard the wiki article on the C|NDA, if you have done a couple security tasks for the FBI or equivalent you can take the course and/or exams with just letter of recommendation.

    Cheers, 1ce
