I HAD FULL MARkS IN 2 EXAMS

i take foundation and the highest you can get is a "c"

in maths i had 75/75
in science i had 27/27



im pretty proud of my self as im not the smartest of the lot.. lol

i had 2 "c"s

Is foundation the easy course?

I do the hardest courses available to me and I get high marks, it isn't that much of a big deal.

 

Honestly, you should be incredibly proud of yourself. I wish i was as smart as you at your age.


If foundation is like the dumb classes, then who cares that you got full marks? Those dumb classes only require common sense to get 100% in, and that don't even need that much common sense either.

You should be proud of yourself that you're doing well in those classes, start raising your expectations and try and get into higher classes. Well done.

 

Since most school work is basic memorization, you don't have to be smart to do good in school.

Congratulations man, I wish I could get 2 "A's" at my school its an A. I'm never really dedicated and stuff, my best marks was in english. 392/400.

Narrow that down, it's like 98/100 lol.

Good job, no idea what foundation and stuff is however.

 

Compared to what most people get grade wise in Liverpool it is a big deal, Most people there never established skills past year 3.

And yes foundation is the easy course.

Grades are a bad measure of intelligence and intelligence alone is a poor way to measure and compare people. If you do what you're capable of in your classes and act cordially then you should be proud of yourself indeed. Congratulations.

Yea pretty much I had to do that exam because I never attended school even those when I did attend I had top marks =/

Needless to say I got the C easily, Only took like 15 mins to do the paper.

 

Same with me, Never felt it was worth bragging about

 

my friend is taking foundations math as he really just doesn't care and needs a math course to graduate. He's sitting at a 96 and says he has only had homework once, which was a 20 minute take home test. He shows up to class about 60% of the time, giving him one of the highest attendance records in the class.

I don't think foundations should even be offered, unless you are actually mentally challenged you shouldn't have any trouble passing academic courses. I'm taking regular math 11 and i'm hauling mid 80s with minimal effort. Note that this is the canadian system, the average american doesn't know how to make an exponential equation.

Attendance is directly related to marks, and if you can't be bothered to show up for your occupation, how do you plan on excelling in another one. School itself is a test, many of the things you learn are not academic, failing school is basically failing life.
