Question About Software Sales

I have written a multi-autoclick program that would be very useful for RS players, or for any other auto clicker use. I offer the program as a free download with a survey completion (CPALead), or for $3.50 via Paypal to bypass the survey and download it.

I would really like to sell the program in the Sythe.org software section, but I don't want to confuse anyone with the CPALead popup on the download page. The reason I use the CPALead interface to also accept the Paypal payment is because the program can then be immediately downloaded rather than the customer having to wait for me to email it. I also wouldn't mind if Sythe.org members preferred to fill out the survey to get the program rather than pay for it.

So would I be able to link to the download page that prompts the CPALead interface on my sale thread if I explain it? Or is this strictly not allowed, and I should just charge everyone, then manually deliver it?

Also, I would like a Admin/Moderator/Reputable member who can verify my program, as well as the source if necessary. Could you recommend members that I should ask for verification before I post the program for sale?

Forgot to mention that I plan to give out 20 copies free. I understand that I'm a new member with no vouches, so I need to gain some trust. I think this auto clicker could really be what some players are looking for, and I don't want my lack of vouches to make the program seem any less professional.

 

Well $3.50 is quite expensive considering that an Admin already offers ones for that price and you have bots like Simba/Scar that can do that with so much more anti-ban. Competing with an Admin would be a little difficult honestly. I don't see why you couldn't offer a download link through CPALead but most people around here won't do surveys and you have to make sure you don't have any referral links or anything like that in your thread.

I usually see Blupig verifying downloads, but if you are going to give away 20 copies just only give them away to long time members/highly trusted members. If you give it away to someone with 2 vouches and 50 posts then that vouch won't be very credible for obvious reasons.

I agree about the price. When I started writing it, my intended price was going to be $1.00. After seeing Govind's price, I didn't want to undercut his price with a program that had more features. I figured that wouldn't be the smartest move to piss off an admin right away.

So for the price, I'm not sure what to do. I'd like to only charge $1.00 for direct dl, and to bypass the survey. Maybe Govind could let me know how he feels about it.

Just so that everyone knows I'm not wasting their time with another auto clicker that's no different than the rest, here are the program features.
Features:
-Hotkeys to quickly Start, Stop, and Exit the program
-Up to 5 left or right clicks per sequence
-Allows custom time intervals between each click and before restarting the sequence in seconds
-Allows for custom amount or infinite clicks until stopped
-Allows pixel variance at click locations
-Allows random function to appear human

Random Setting Includes:
-Random interval variance only slightly more than those chosen by the user
-Small chance of random breaks for up to 9 seconds
-Random mouse button click-down and let-up speeds

Special Features:
-Intelligent pixel variance with more clicks closer to the target and fewer further from the target
-Intelligent random mouse movement migrating towards the next location with movements based on the distance to the next click
-Intelligent interval variance based on interval duration to make shorter intervals more accurate while remaining random

 

You can charge whatever you feel is justifiable for your program. Don't worry about making anyone angry, as everyone understands that it is a business and you have to be competitive.

As for the survey part you will be 100% in the clear with that as long as you state in the thread that you want people to fill out the survey in exchange for the program.
